Instructions for Authors
Oral presentations

Each presentation will be of 10 minutes duration. To make sure that the conference will run smoothly and to reduce the impact of unstable internet connections, we require you to send a recording of your 10-minute presentation along with your presentation slides (in both PDF and PPT formats) by 6th August 2021. Here you can download the instructions for recording oral presentations.
Please use the AQUA≈360 template to prepare for your oral presentation.
A number of prizes will be awarded to the students with the best papers. Shortlisting will be based on reviewers’ comments on the extended abstracts. Those shortlisted for the prize will be informed by email prior to the conference. A panel of judges will assess the shortlisted extended abstracts based on the presentations. The winners will be announced on 2nd September at the closing ceremony.

Poster presentations

A number of poster presentation sessions have been considered. If your paper has been selected for a poster presenter, please use the AQUA≈360 template to prepare your poster. You are required to submit both the PDF and PPT versions of your poster by 15th August 2021.
A number of prizes will be awarded for the best posters. A panel of judges will assess all posters on their scientific contribution, relevance for practice, design/presentation and how much attention they attracted during the poster session. The winners will be announced on 2nd September at the closing ceremony.

Extended abstracts should be prepared in MS Word, using the AQUA≈360 template. This template has been designed with specific styles and formats embedded, to ensure consistency across all authors - incorrectly formatted submissions will not be accepted. When submitting your abstract, please rename the template file with the surname of the first author, followed by the institution's short form (and a number if submitting multiple extended abstracts) e.g. 'Young-UCL', 'Smith-UoE-01', 'Smith-UoE-02'.

Extended abstracts must be written in English and should not exceed two pages, including figures, tables and references. A 300 word summary must be provided during the submission process on EasyChair. This does not need to be repeated in the extended abstract.
Submissions must be received by 21st May 2021. All authors will be notified by 14th June 2021 of acceptance of their papers.
